BCCI’s invitation to IPL owners leaves the team management in ‘chaos’
The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s invitation to IPL franchise owners has dragged uncertainties to the team management, team directors and other officials.
BCCI scheduled a meeting and has made quite clear that only IPL owners are expected to be a part of it. But this came as an underfire for the other important members.
The meeting is scheduled to be held on November 21. It is cognisance of the fact that the IPL owners always seek information from the management and the staff members.
Before taking any step forward, the IPL franchise owners discuss with them. BCCI made a clear statement on the agenda that it is wholly going to be about talks of IPL 2018.
There were reports claiming that the IPL player retention policy is also going to be discussed in the meeting as two Indians and one foreign player for each franchise.
It was also speculated that the meeting is about the return of Chennai Super Kings and Royals. Also, the owners and officials would sort out the wage cap for the team players.
