“Zach LaVine needѕ minuteѕ on his prepaid iPhօne”: Kevin Durant Roasts Team USA Teammate For Not Having Service On His Phone In Tokyo
Kevin Durant, Zach Lavine and several other NBA stars are gearing up for a gold medal run, but they still can’t help but crack jokes with each other.
Earlier, Kevin Durant and Bam Adebayo had a little spat with each other after KD claimed that the Heat center hadn’t given him the ball back after he made a three pointer.
Stop Lying @KDTrey5 😐. You Saw @Dame_Lillard Take Your Rock. You Just Tried To Little Bro Me 🖕🏾 https://t.co/D8itKlecs6

Then, there was also the whole of Team USA singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to Durant a whole two months before his actual birthday:

Nobody is safe from the trolling and roasting, not even Bulls star Zach Lavine. With the games being held in Tokyo, an international SIM or roaming is definitely required, but well, it looks like Lavine didn’t quite catch the memo.
Kevin Durant Mocks Zach Lavine For Not Being Able To Use His Phone At Tokyo
It’s easy to forget some of the simplest things at time, and it looks like Zach Lavine fell victim to that when he forgot to get an international plan for his phone before he left.
Following up with Team USA’s lighthearted and joking culture, Durant had to make sure to let the young Bull know that he had definitely messed up.
Hopefully, Lavine is able to work something out as being in a completely different country with no phone access isn’t really an ideal scenario.
However, it should be easy for him to find something. The bigger question remains about how Zach Lavine, Durant, and the rest of Team USA will perform at the Tokyo Olympics.
After losing two exhibition games, many people have started to question this team’s ability to perform when it matters. They never really looked dominant the way you’d expect an American basketball team to be, and if they don’t buckle up before the elimination games, it could be disastrous for the squad.
A loss in these Olympics would definitely be humiliating for the USA who prides itself on its basketball dominance with the NBA being the best professional basketball league in the world.
However, it is also the NBA’s “softer” rules that have affect Team USA. Many times, players have looked around at referees, expecting calls that they would normally get in the NBA only to be given nothing.
However, Team USA did bounce back, and Lavine and Durant were big reasons why. After being inserted in the starting lineup, Lavine was making highlight play after highlight play for the Americans.
ZACH LAVINE IS LIKE THAT 😤

Both him and Durant have been scoring efficiently, and they’ll look to build some strong chemistry ahead of their matches at the Olympics.
