‘They aren’t Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen’: Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams share same Insta story, NFL fans blast Packers players for referencing ‘The Last Dance’
Amidst all the other drama in Green Bay, Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams are now comparing themselves to Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.
NFL fans were not having it. The two shared the same story on Instagram, a reference to ‘The Last Dance’ alluding to the fact that the duo may be on their way out in Green Bay.
Rodgers has been a rumored trade candidate for a long time now, and now it looks like Davante Adams is going to join him too. The star wideout has engaged in contract talks with the Packers, but nothing fruitful has come out of it, and it isn’t looking likely that anything will either.
This turmoil prompted Rodgers and Adams to post the same cryptic story on their Instagram.

NFL Fans Mock Aaron Rodgers And Davante Adams For Calling Themselves Michael Jordan And Scottie Pippen
NFL fans from all around reacted with varying levels of distaste towards Rodgers and Adams story. For context, ‘The Last Dance’ was a documentary centered around Jordan and Pippen’s last year together with the Chicago Bulls.
The duo had won five NBA championships, and while their dynasty had been cemented as one of the greatest (if not the greatest) in NBA history, it looked like things were finally coming to an end in that storied 1998 season.
Jordan, head coach Phil Jackson, and general manager Jerry Krause were feuding, and Scottie Pippen looked to be on his last legs. That prompted ‘The Last Dance’ moniker out of the final season as the team knew that they were most likely gearing up for one final run together, one last championship, one last season, one last dance.
Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams may be trying to communicate the same message here. The disputes with the front office seem to have finally come to a head, and it’s prompting some pretty passive-aggressive reactions from both sides.
However, the main difference between Jordan and Pippen and Rodgers and Adams is that the former actually won five titles together before they came to the conclusion that they’d be pairing up one last time. Rodgers and Adams have not won a Super Bowl together. That’s what made some fans pretty mad over the whole affair.
They aren’t jordan and pipp. They’ve never even made it to the superbowl together. SKOL THE NORTH

It’s unclear what exactly will happen in Green Bay in the coming months, but as it stands, things aren’t looking too good for Packers fans. They may be losing their franchise best quarterback and super star wide receiver by the time next season rolls in.
