“Again taken out by a Mercedes”– Max Verstappen is annoyed with ugly Mercedes driving style
“Again taken out by a Mercedes”– Max Verstappen slams Mercedes spoiling Red Bull’s prospect by causing carnage at Hungaroring.
Valtteri Bottas had the loosest hold on his brakes, which led to chaos at turn 1, where Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, Sergio Perez, Lance Stroll and finally himself had to make an end to their race.
Out of all, even Max Verstappen took a hit but managed to skim himself out of the crash zone, but from there, Red Bull’s performance went down, and for the most of the race, the Dutch driver was out of the points zone.
In the end, only, he managed to finish at P10 and took a point home, but during the post-race interview, he slammed Mercedes for spoiling his team’s race for two consecutive races.
Imagine saying we’d be watching a race with Ocon, Vettel and Latifi in the top three while Max Verstappen and Mick Schumacher have a wheel-to-wheel battle 😂 pic.twitter.com/nOwdIXIACu

“Again taken out by a Mercedes. Almost impossible to drive. At least I got one point, we scored something. A lot of freak moments which are costing us a lot of points,” said Verstappen.

A crunch situation
With Lewis Hamilton grabbing the P3 points in Hungary, he is now six points ahead of Verstappen in the championship race. The last two races have been a horror for Red Bull, as they could only take one point out of them.
Thus, they now stand ten points behind Mercedes in the constructors’ championship race. So, while the F1 season will resume in Spa, the intensity of the competition is only rising.
