“Summer break is where things will intensify” – Mick Schumacher to hold talks with Ferrari over Haas future
“Summer break is where things will intensify” – Mick Schumacher will sit for discussions with his parent team Ferrari over the next few weeks and decide his future with Haas.
Mick Schumacher will find out if he will continue with Haas or move to Alfa Romeo over the next few weeks. He has confirmed the scheduling of talks with Ferrari to finalize his future beyond this season.
“The summer break is where things will intensify on that side.
“With Ferrari, we are always in contact about it but again, it has been something I haven’t really put my thoughts to but it is the summer break where we will talk about and see what direction we want to go for.”

Mick Schumacher focusing on current season
Until then, the German wants to focus on a strong second half of the season with Haas. He is yet to open his points tally, but both he and Nikita Mazepin have put on credible performances so far in their rookie F1 season.
“Of course, everybody on the grid has been very welcoming. I have known them from before but it is great to be on the same grid as them now and hopefully, in the near future, we will be able to fight with them.
“I think everybody in the team has been helping me to feel the way I do and it comes down to every single person working for the team that has been giving me the support I needed and also the guidance.
“So I am very happy to be here and I have been able to learn from them. We still have a second half of the season to go, my learning curve will still go on and improve.”
