“Kevin Durant Made The Clutch Shot Of The Year, I Want KD”: Skip Bayless Picks ‘The Slim Reaper’ Over LeBron James To Take The Last Shot In A Game
Last shot in the game? Who do you want? Max Kellerman might say Andre Iguodala, but Skip Bayless is picking Kevin Durant over LeBron James.
The FS1 host on ‘The Undisputed’ had a heated argument with co-host Shannon Sharpe about who the clutchest player in the league is. Sharpe said that the argument had levels to it. Through the first three quarters, Sharpe would roll with LeBron no matter what.
However, if the game came down to a tight back and forth in the final period, and if you’d need that closer, Sharpe would pick Kevin Durant all day.
1 game for your life: Do you want KD or LeBron?
“If he can take it over in the first 3 quarters, I’ll go with LeBron. But if we need a closer and a scorer, the ultimate playmaker and weapon from mid-range, it’s Kevin Bleepin’ Durant.” — @RealSkipBayless pic.twitter.com/tmX7kyAQFL

Skip Bayless, a notorious LeBron James hater, chimed in with his own take on the scenario, saying that there was no contest between the two and that he’d take Kevin Durant any day.
Skip Bayless Says Kevin Durant Made The Clutch Shot Of The Year, Going Over LeBron James For Clutchest Player In The NBA
Back in the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks series, Kevin Durant made what looked the game-winning buzzer beater of the playoffs, year, maybe even decade.
After losing Kyrie Irving to injury and James Harden playing with a sore hamstring, Kevin Durant took up the lead role for the Nets, putting in some historically memorable performances as he tried to lead the Nets to victory. That included this insane shot during game seven of the series:

However, his foot was just barely over the three point line, something that happened because of huge shoes. Thus, the shot did not win the game, and the Bucks would eventually go on to win overtime, sealing the series. This is how close that shot was to being a three:
“My big ass foot stepped on the line,” Durant told reporters after the game. “I just saw how close I was to ending their season with that shot.” That screenshot shows that it was truly a matter of inches @Herring_NBA

It’s for this shot, and all the other incredible performances KD has put up that has Skip Bayless picking him over LeBron James to take the final shot of a game.
We just got to see it right before our very eyes. You want to talk about clutch? KD made the clutch shot of the year in the playoffs with just a tenth of an inch of a sneaker on the line. I want Kevin Durant! @undisputed. 9:30 AM-Noon ET. FS1. https://t.co/AdFEfpfTsm
