“I’m so sick of how little love Klay Thompson gets!”: Stephen A Smith passionately explains why the Warriors star is easily a top-5 shooter ever
ESPN analyst Stephen A Smith talks about Klay Thompson and the amount of hate he receives, calls him Top 5 shooters all-time
The Golden State Warriors, after two years of flying under the radar, are preparing for a comeback. With Stephen Curry at the helm, and Klay Thompson making his way back to the team soon, the Warriors have a season full of opportunities ahead of them. As long as Draymond Green is at the core, and with the return on Andre Iguodala, the possibilities are endless.
A lot of people recognize that this is the same core that won the 2015 NBA Championship and have high expectations. With the rookies Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody balling out at the summer league, Dubnations just grows ever so hopeful.
Recently Stephen A Smith had an interaction with 95.7 The Game, where he talked about Klay Thompson and why he deserves more attention and love.
Stephen A Smith is sick of all the hate Klay Thompson gets
Klay Thompson has been out of action for two seasons now. He missed the 2019-20 season with a torn ACL he suffered in Game 6 of the 2019 Finals.
After a long and grueling rehab, Klay looked like he was making a full recovery, when he tore his Achilles, just a month before the 2020-21 season started. After another year of recovery and rehab, Klay is now working his way back to the court.
Stephen A Smith talked about Klay on 95.7 FM. There he was puzzled as to how such a sweet guy like Klay Thompson receives so much hate. While Dubnation absolutely loves Klay, the same cant be said for the rest of the league and their fans. Smith said,
“You’re talking about Klay Thompson. I’m so sick of the lack of love this guy gets. This guy is one of the top five shooters in the history of basketball. You can’t find five shooters that you can definitively say is a better than Klay Thompson.”

Both Stephen Curry and Klay catch a lot of unwarranted hate and doubt. However, they’d look to silence the haters next season. It would be an emotional moment for the Warriors’ fans to see the Splash Brothers on the court together after over two seasons.
