“I’ve known Stephen Curry since we were pups man!”: Patrick Beverley reveals his surprisingly close relationship with the Warriors star
Clip uploaded on Twitter by an NBA Insider reveals that Patrick Beverley and Warriors star Stephen Curry are closer than many would believe
Stephen Curry and Patrick Beverley have never quite shown any indication of being close during their time on the court. And frankly, it makes complete sense.
At the end of the day, both players are competitors of the most intense kind. The only real difference here, apart from their skillset, of course, is that the former Clippers star is loud about it, while the Chef really just shakes and shimmies, as he drops a 40 bomb on your head.
But, because of their less-than-friendly encounters on the court, many believe that the two players don’t really like each other. And honestly, we were in the same boat as well.
That was until Tomer Azarly posted a particular clip on Twitter. And let’s just say, watching it is just a tad bit more than an eye-opening experience.
Simply put, you’re going to want to see this.
Patrick Beverley recounts the times Stephen Curry have been close together, and their conversations about their kids
On the court, sure Patrick Beverley isn’t exactly the kind of player that inspires a ton of awe in fans. His playstyle and dogged mentality are as scrappy as they come, and can often even incite some hate for him within the NBA community.
What many don’t realize though, is that the now Timberwolves star can actually be a really sweet person off the court, and even has some close relationships with stars from other teams.
What are we talking about, you ask? Take a look at the tweet below.

We won’t lie, we were seriously surprised when we saw this video.
Everything that Pat Bev says seems genuine and from the heart. He seriously shows love to Steph Curry and his family.
It’s a sweet side to the player that is often vilified. And frankly, we wish it was something more people would take notice of.
