Anushka’s spokesperson denies rumours of her marriage with Virat Kohli

Before the selectors announced their squads for the ODI and T20 series against Sri Lanka, people were split over the decision to whether or not rest Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli has played an incredible amount of cricket over the last couple of years as the Indian captain has barely missed a minute with team India. Now that he became captain, Kohli’s involvement in the game has gone up a notch as the superstar has himself admitted that he needs to take a rest.

After the series win against Sri Lanka, Kohli admitted that he needed a rest.

“Last time I took a break, it was very difficult to handle. But my body is wanting it right now. It has taken a toll in the last couple of years, and right now is the perfect time to take a break before South Africa.”

Ever since it was announced that he won’t be playing in the limited overs series, rumours were rife that the Indian skipper was going to tie the knot with long time partner Anushka Sharma.

Things went into overdrive today as reports started emerging that Kohli will be marrying Anushka next week in Italy.

But now Anushka’s spokesperson has responded and denied these reports.  “There is absolutely no truth to it (rumors of marriage),” Anushka’s spokesperson told PTI.
