Chennai Super Kings come up with a tweet for Jofra Archer
Chennai Super Kings are returning to the IPL after a 2-year break and are more than excited about playing in the IPL once again.
One of the most followed franchises, CSK are back in the mix and they are doing everything they can to get the fandom back behind the ‘yellow army’. They have been extremely active on social media, coming up with extremely witty tweets for the franchise and for all their players.

In an incident that took place yesterday, Jofra Archer, who was bought by RR for Rs7.2 crore, was hit with a lot of hatred from CSK and Dhoni fans, for having posted ‘anti-Dhoni’ and ‘Anti-India’ tweets in the past.
Here are some of his tweets that resurfaced last night, thanks to screenshots from apparently an ardent Dhoni fan.
Chennai Super Kings though decided to play it cool over the entire incident, tweeting ‘Jofra looooooooooove’, welcoming Jofra to the IPL.
Jofra looooooooove! 💛

It was heartening to see CSK not jumping on the ‘hate’ bandwagon towards Jofra Archer, and while there may be a hint of sarcasm in their tweet, they did not resort to outright bashing for the young West-Indian.
Who is Jofra Archer?
Jofra Archer is a Barbados-born, young West Indian cricketer, who has been making the headlines for his superlative performances in the BBL.
Archer, who is a fast bowler(and is also handy with the bat down the order) was picked up by RR in the IPL auction for a whopping Rs 7.2 crore. A lot of franchises were interested in securing his services, but RR eventually won the bid.
Jofra would be hoping to set the IPL on fire, and then break into either the West Indian or the English limited overs side. In 2016, Archer joined Sussex, in order to be in contention for the English national team, following the footsteps of Chris Jordan.
