WATCH : Rabada gives Shikhar Dhawan a send-off
India could only manage a total of 274 at the end of 50 overs, as the batting order failed to capitalize on the wonderful platform set by India’s top three.
Fresh off his century in Johannesburg, Shikhar Dhawan looked in great from in the 5th ODI today, as the Delhi star played some lovely drives in the first few overs.
The left-hander took strike today, as Dhawan protected Rohit from Rabada and Morkel’s initial burst with the new ball.
South Africa’s new ball pair were wonderful today, as Rabada and Morkel made the ball talk under overcast conditions.
While Rohit scratched around at the start of his innings, Dhawan stroked some boundaries to get the innings off to a quick start.
Dhawan made a quick 34 off 23 deliveries, before he pulled the ball straight to Phehlukwayo at deep mid-wicket.
Rabada was ecstatic, as he gave a grand send-off to Dhawan. The young pacer waved the batsman goodbye, as Dhawan walked away to immense disappointment.

CURRENT MATCH SCENARIO :
India rode on Rohit Sharma’s 17th ODI century to post 274 runs in their allotted 50-overs. They lost both Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane in quick succession, as Rohit was involved in their run-outs.
The middle-order once again failed to click for India, as Pandy, Dhoni and Iyer did not substantially add to the score. This will be a big worry to the Indian think tank, as they cannot always rely on their top three to score all the runs.
Let’s see if the Indian bowlers can win the match for their team!
