Eden Hazard to Real Madrid is apparently a done deal
Eden Hazard has been talisman for Chelsea, taking them to two title wins in the last 3 years. After these brilliant performances by the Belgian national winger, a lot of top clubs are eyeing a move for Hazard and are prepared to go to vast lengths to make this deal happen.
The latest twist in the Hazard transfer saga is that Alvaro Morata has told his friends that the Hazard deal is done and he will leave for Bernabeu at the end of this season with a player moving in opposite direction to Stamford Bridge, according to Spanish publication Diario Gol.
It was previously rumored that Real Madrid had offered Euro 120 million for the playmaker. Chelsea are looking for a swap deal so that they can instantly fill the void that will be left by the move of their best player.
Chelsea want Real to provide likes of Isco, Bale or Asensio with a huge pile of cash if they want to have any chance to sign Belgian superstar claims Diario Gol. A deal of euro 100 million with Bale in mix is rumored to be latest offer put on the table from Spanish giants.
But Hazard has claimed he is happy at Stamford Bridge, despite the speculation over his future. Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League clash against Barcelona, he said “I have played for Chelsea for six years now and I am happy here, my family is happy here.”
It was believed that this match could turn out to be an audition for Hazard move to Madrid and after his stupendous performance against Barcelona, even more chatter has accumulated for this move.
Real have a very strenuous task to sign Hazard so that they can put a stop at their rapidly declining attacking prowess, as seen in their this year’s La Liga standing. They are at 3rd place with a drift of 14 points from their arch rival Barcelona, who are standing at apex of La Liga table.
