“I’m not getting older, I’m getting wiser!”: When Michael Jordan responded brilliantly to question regarding his age, and potential retirement during Bulls days
A look back at the time when Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan was asked about getting on in age during his career
During all of his Chicago Bulls’ career, Michael Jordan was almost unequivocally the greatest player of all time.
During his long, long tenure, the man got the Bulls 6-championships, while he grabbed 5 MVPs, 6 MVPs, 3 All-Star MVPs and so, so much more.
Over time though, as all people do, the man got on with age, many started to wonder just when the man’s abilities wouldn’t quite be the same anymore. Heck, many even started to wonder if his retirement was coming up soon, despite his prime still in full swing.
At the time, a reporter decided to ask what everyone was thinking to the man, straight on. And let’s just say, you’re going to want to hear the answer.
Michael Jordan produces brilliant answer on to questions about age from reporter during interview
Michael Jordan has always been a brilliant interviewee, and that has been the case ever since the early parts of his NBA career. And that, evidently, did not change as the years piled on, onto his body.
How do we know that? Well, as we mentioned earlier, we have a certain YouTube clip, right here, waiting for you to click on it.
Those are wise, wise words from a wise, wise NBA player. And who knows? Maybe some of those 6 championships wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for this mentality imbued deep within him.
