“Why Don’t You Ask LeBron James About China?”: Former NBA Player Calls Out Shannon Sharpe and Lakers Star’s Hypocrisy on Jerry Jones Controversy
Be it on the basketball court or off it, LeBron James always wants to be at the center of things. When The King gets political, that’s where things get tricky for one of the greatest athletes of all time.
This time it is his far-reaching effort that is going to bring him the limelight, good or bad. Only time will tell.
But getting his own name involved in the recent Jerry Jones mix-up doesn’t sound too good, when last time he wasn’t much vocal on the China-Nike matter, which surely did need his stance.
A former player NBA has called James and one of his biggest fans out on the subject.
Royce White calls out LeBron James and Shannon Sharpe in Jerry Jones controversy
We are not sure if he is even remembered by the people of Sacramento, but they will surely know him now. Royce White, a Canadian basketball star, who played just 3 games in the NBA back in 2014, has come forward to critique LeBron James for Dallas Cowboys owner’s racial controversy.
Fox Sports Shannon Sharpe also became his target in the same case. White critiqued the long-time LeBron Supporter for his support Tweet for the 18x All-Star whereas going all out on Kyrie Irving for an anti-Semitic matter.

Now, White is probably right in calling Shannon out for supporting LeBron, but bringing in Kyrie’s case was a little odd because supporting something even remotely anti-Semitic would end his TV career. So, why would Sharpe do that?
LeBron’s China controversy
The NBA superstar was under a lot of criticism a few months back during the whole Nike-China incident that was surrounded by allegations of the use of Uighur forced labor in cotton production.
While the then Boston Celtics big man, Enis Freedom Kanter kept calling him and Nike out at the time, James did not utter a word against those allegations for a long time until he had to. But that wasn’t good enough either.
So, he is clearly being selective about the subject he wants to speak on. And this recent effort by him to get himself involved in something he wasn’t naturally asked about was too obvious to show it.
