“Magic Bench Is Taunting Lebron LeBron James”: In the Aftermath of Lakers’ Surprising Win, Skip Bayless Needlessly Puts Down LBJ by Quoting Michael Jordan
The LeBron James and Skip Bayless saga will continue at least until the end of LBJ’s career. After all, it is very likely that the FS1 analyst has a genuine obsession with the Lakers superstar. Though the feelings are only one-sided in this relationship.
LeBron James had never cared even a little to retort to Skip’s most vile and questionable attacks. In fact, LeBron has likely never ever engaged with Skip. But Bayless continues his attack on the 6ft 8″ legend relentlessly. Every opportunity the Lakers squander, Skip is there to taunt and thump his chest at LeBron.
Recently, he has gotten into the habit of poking King James even when he wins which is unfortunately so rare. After their latest game against the Magic, Bayless claimed that the Orlando bench taunted LeBron mid-game. He then brought Michael Jordan into the conversation.
Skip Bayless uses Michael Jordan’s name to diss LeBron James
To be fair, this is not the first time Skip has done such a thing. He is obviously someone who relentlessly chips away at the self-confidence of someone trying to do their best.
The brand of ‘journalism’ that Bayless has adopted over the years and then preached is simply a toxic pool of regurgitated name-calling. This is the kind of journalism that can only thrive on feuds and drama and has little to no insights into the game. His recent Tweets prove this.
Skip: “It has come to this: Now the Orlando Magic bench is taunting LeBron – and he’s giving it back to them. Did anybody ever dare to taunt Jordan? Please.”

What is worse is the lack of subtlety in Bayless’ attack. It’s almost as if he is aware of everyone’s disdain at his obvious attempts but continues as if to thumb his nose at the entire NBA community. Fortunately, LeBron James wants to stay as far away from this drama as possible.
King James is putting up unbelievable numbers
Bayless and his criticism aside, LBJ is currently putting up incredible numbers. He is averaging 27.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game.
Considering LeBron is in his 19th year in the league, his performance is refuting most logic. He should not be able to show such athletic abilities at this age. Yet, here we are, watching LeBron posterize youngsters every other day.
Unfortunately for the Lakers, LeBron’s numbers have not really impacted their win percentage. They have won only 14 games and lost 20. With Anthony Davis out indefinitely, it’s going to be a tough road ahead.
