After Once Being Saved By LaVar Ball From Death, LaMelo Ball Admits He’s Just Happy to Be Alive
It may be a long shot, but LaMelo Ball may actually have the slightest shot of making the All-Star team, despite all the time lost due to injury. After all, the man has been absolutely electric so far this season.
Against the OKC Thunder tonight, the Ball brother recorded 27 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks, while shooting 60% from the field, and 50% from beyond the arc.
After a performance like that, it was obvious the man was going to be interviewed.
But, what perhaps wasn’t as obvious was the fact that the man dropped some seriously deep quotes when simply being asked about the game.
LaMelo Ball is just thrilled to be alive, as he explains in his post-game interview
LaMelo Ball is one of those people that joke around quite a bit, even in the middle of a high-stakes game. So, especially after the kind of game he had against OKC, Ashley ShahAhmadi probably expected the 21-year-old to be laughing on camera as well.
But instead, all she and the fans got, was an incredibly deep answer.
He may have delivered the line with his usual charisma, but that certainly felt very unexpected.
But then again, if there is anyone that can appreciate being alive, it is LaMelo Ball. After, he almost lost that chance when he was just a kid trying to play basketball.
LaMelo Ball almost lost his life while playing basketball at a local gym
Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo Ball have always been playing above their age level to be as amazing as they are at basketball today.
But, on one occasion, they almost paid dearly for it. The only reason they didn’t do so, was because LaVar Ball, the much-antagonized father in the NBA community turned into Superman.
Take a look at the YouTube clip below to hear how it all went down.
Turns out neither Shaquille O’Neal, nor Dwight Howard deserved the famous comic character’s title.
No, it was LaVar Ball all along.
