“Scottie Pippen Wasn’t Good Enough”: Shaquille O’Neal Once Went At Michael Jordan’s ‘Robin’ Amidst Their Online Beef
Shaquille O’Neal has never been one to mince his words. His segment on ‘Inside the NBA’ called ‘Shaqtin’ a Fool’ is quite literally him going at and poking fun at any and every single player in the league who messes up even in the slightest. Whether it’s Javale McGee or LeBron James, everybody’s susceptible to getting roasted by Shaq.
Of course, the only reason as to why O’Neal has the ‘authority’ to go at players like this is because he has what he calls ‘G-14 Classification’. His on-court accomplishments ranging from 4 championships to countless All-NBA and All-Star nods allow him to go at players both during analysis of the game and on social media.
Shaq doesn’t just limit himself to discussing players that are in the league currently. He argues over hypotheticals from way back in his day as well. This is exactly what happened between him and Scottie Pippen in 2015.
Shaquille O’Neal went at Scottie Pippen through TMZ
Shaquille O’Neal has had a history of taking to Instagram to ask fans hypotheticals regarding rankings of players throughout history or simply asking which teams would win in a head-to-head. He did this back in 2015 between the all-time great Lakers and all-time great Bulls, claiming the former would win.
Pippen would respond and this led to Shaq eviscerating the Bulls forward by saying Ron Harper and Steve Kerr deserved more credit than him.
While outside of a club, TMZ would catch up with ‘The Big Aristotle’ and ask him about this social media beef he had with Scottie. He would go on to claim that Pippen was good but ‘not good enough’ all while inviting him to go on his ‘Big’ podcast to hash out their differences.
Shaquille O’Neal issued a challenge to Scottie Pippen recently
Both Shaquille O’Neal and Scottie Pippen have sons who are trying to make it to the NBA as of right now. They both played in Summer League and in the G-League. Shaq however, seems to be more interested in getting himself involved somehow.
He issued a 2v2 challenge between him and his son, Shareef, and Scottie and his son, Scotty Pippen Jr. The amount of money on the line is $660000. Since nothing has happened yet, it’s safe to say that the 6x NBA champion has not responded privately to the Lakers legend.
