Is LeBron James Playing Tonight vs Hornets? Lakers Release 18-Time All-Star’s Availability Update
LeBron James is solely carrying the Lakers on his shoulders. The gold and purple have unceremoniously fallen to the bottom of the league. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been a sudden dive but is the result of a two-year-long tragedy. Their poor performances and team chemistry has become the downfall of the team.
LBJ is, at this moment, the only saving grace of this squad because everyone else has been disappointing. To be fair, even LeBron’s defensive contributions have felt lethargic and too simple.
Their recent win over the Atlanta Hawks definitely deserves praise. However, such scattered wins will not take them to a certain playoff berth. With Anthony Davis also inactive, the Lakers will desperately need LeBron James against the Charlotte Hornets.
LeBron James is probable for Monday
Fortunately, LeBron James has been marked probable for Monday. This essentially means that Darvin Ham is confident in the 6ft 8″ star’s appearance against the Hornets.
LeBron is apparently feeling soreness in his left ankle for a few games. Though he will likely suit up, it will be important for him to manage the load and not aggravate the sprain.

In their previous game against the Atlanta Hawks as well, LeBron James was upgraded from questionable to probable. He eventually played on his birthday and led the Lakers to a much-needed win. Hopefully, Monday night will see a repeat of the last game.
LeBron’s posting unbelievable numbers
LeBron James is an oddity that is baffling NBA pundits and analysts. No one is able to truly comprehend the kind of performances he is putting up as a 38-year-old. Frankly, it shouldn’t be possible for him to score 47 points in a game.
But that is not the only thing LeBron has got going for himself. In the 28 games he has played, LBJ is averaging 28.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 6.6 assists. If he continues to perform similarly, he will overtake Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in just 19 more games. We are fortunate to witness this.
