Raipur cricket match ticket booking start date: Will India vs New Zealand 2023 tickets Raipur be sold on BookMyShow?

Almost seven years after being officially recognized as a state unit by the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India), CSCS (Chhattisgarh State Cricket Sangh) will be hosting its first-ever international match in the form of the second ODI between India and New Zealand on January 21.

With Raipur all set to be added to the long list of Indian cities which have hosted an international cricket match, it is needless to say that the cricket fans in the city must be brimming with excitement to throng the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium later this month.

Although bereft of international cricket in all these years, this stadium has had its share of being a witness to high-profile cricketers doing their thing. Having first come into recognition by hosting a couple of Indian Premier League matches as Delhi Daredevils’ (now Capitals) home ground almost a decade ago, Raipur has hosted a total of 29 T20s till date.

It is noteworthy that ticket booking for the second India-New Zealand ODI in the city will begin on January 12 across both online and offline platforms according to The Times of India.

While ticketing platform Paytm Insider will be selling tickets online, there have been reports of the management planning to make arrangements for enough offline counters in order to avoid any kind of chaos at the ticket windows.

Keeping in mind the gravitas of the occasion, it is imperative for CSCS, city’s administration and police to be on their toes in a bid to provide optimum and smooth experience to fans.

Considering how even some of the biggest cricketing venues in India fail to provide the aforementioned experience to fans primarily due to mismanagement and lack of vision, CSCS could set an example in its first-ever attempt by taking care of some basic but key factors.
