Is Paul George Playing Tonight Vs Mavericks? Injury Update for the 7x All-Star as Clippers Try to Avoid 7th Straight Loss
The Los Angeles Clippers are again into the same old drama that they have been into since they decided to go with the superstar duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George back in 2019. Injuries.
Clips started the 2022-23 season well, even with Leonard being in and out of the line-up. However, they are now on the longest losing streak since the duo came together.
Trae Young and Hawks’ comeback 112-108 win on Sunday was their sixth straight loss. And to top it, they have to face Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks that just lost to the OKC Thunder. Will their top scorer play this one?
Will Paul George play tonight vs. Luka Doncic and Co?
Paul George might be averaging just over 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists per game, but the former Pacers forward is the leading scorer of his team that’s just hanging on a 21-21 record, good for 7th position in the league.
Although they had Leonard in the line-up against the Hawks, they missed PG’s presence on both sides of the floor. The 7x All-Star missed his team’s last two outings because of a hamstring injury and stands a chance to miss three in a row if Draft King is to be believed.

There has been no official announcement yet, but as far as tonight’s game is concerned, PG will not be playing if not for a miracle.
What are title chances for the Clippers once Leonard and George are fully back?
The Clipper nation would have wanted this year to be theirs as Leonard stayed out the whole of last season. To make it to the Finals, the duo will fancy their chances this season the most as Stephen Curry’s Warriors and LeBron James’ Lakers, both are having pretty tumultuous seasons.
And although the Clippers are also coming down the ladder, towards the bottom half of the West, they’d still have a better chance to recover when PG is back in the starting five with Kawhi still there. We hope to see it soon.
