Is Kevin Durant Playing Tonight vs Mavericks? Suns Release Injury Update for 6ft 10” Superstar
Several weeks after the acquisition of Kevin Durant, Phoenix fans were lucky enough to witness the former MVP take on the floor. In the highly-anticipated debut, the Suns’ newest forward didn’t disappoint.
Playing on a minutes restriction, the 6-foot-10 star managed to record 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists, while shooting the ball at an exceptionally efficient 66.7/50/100 shooting split.
In KD’s 2nd outing as a member of the Suns, he had yet another productive performance. Seeing slightly more game time, the Durantula lodged 20 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 block, and 1 steal.

Is Kevin Durant playing tonight against the Dallas Mavericks?
KD suffered an injury on his knee in mid-January. After missing out on more than a month of action, the 34-year-old looked pretty healthy in his first two games for the Suns.
While there have been no new injuries that force the Slim Reaper to miss out on the contest against the Dallas Mavericks, being the 2nd game of the back-to-back clash, the front office might find a need to rest their superstar.
If the 2-time NBA champ does take on the floor, the Suns-Mavs matchup should promise to be an entertaining one. The trio of Chris Paul, Devin Booker, and KD taking on the All-Star duo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving… the contest will provide us with ample jaw-dropping plays.
While KD’s status for the game is doubtful, the likes of Terrence Ross and Landry Shamet are sitting out.
The 2-time Finals MVP already seems to be in sync with his new teammates. It’ll be interesting to see how they fair in the remainder of the regular season.
