LeBron James Has No Place in Charlamagne Tha God’s Top-5 NBA Players of All Time

There are plenty of ways in which you can look at the way how the game of basketball works, and 99% of the time you will find LeBron James to be one of its greatest players of all time.

However, we all have our opinions, and we do not need to have him on our top-5 or top-10 lists despite the fact that there are just four players in the history of the game that can argue his claim to the GOAT title.

And they would be, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Bill Russell, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, not necessarily in that order. You can do any permutation or combination of the greatest of all time in terms of skills, championships, dominance, playability, or longevity, the King will be at the Top-5 in each one of those teams.

Still, a big-name radio star and Comedy Central talk show host, has recently revealed his top-5 and the Lakers superstar isn’t a part of it.

Charlamagne Tha God snubs LeBron James from his Top-5 NBA players of all time

In the latest drop of their podcast The Brilliant Idiots, the famous radio host Charlamagne Tha God and comedian Andrew Schulz were discussing basketball. And Charlamagne shared his all-time top-5 in the game.

Although he said “objectively” speaking LeBron should be in there, but went with Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal, and Allen Iverson.

The man we are talking about here is not just a 4x NBA Champ, 4x MVP and Finals MVP, he also stands atop the all-time scoring board of the NBA over KAJ and is 4th on the all-time assists list as well. The game never saw anything like him before and it never will. And so, you realize it or not he changed the game and did it in many ways.

How we all are correct?

Now, Schulz said, he was not there to see Magic’s impact on the game or the way he changed basketball, so he would not have him in his top-5. Charlamagne might have stopped liking or even watching the game after the likes of AI and Shaq retired, so he might not have had time to witness James’ greatness because the “Hell Of A Week” host himself had started enjoying fame around 2010.

Like him, we are all opinionated about the players we are witnessing creating greatness. One would not be able to make most millennials and the following generations understand that MJ was better than Kobe and LeBron until The Last Dance came out.

Now try convincing a Warriors fan that Kobe and LeBron are better than Stephen Curry. You might be able to prove it in all different ways, but you will not succeed. That’s the way it is, and it should be.
