Is Anthony Davis Playing Tonight vs Grizzlies? Lakers Release Injury Update on the Best Rim Protector of the Playoffs
There are plenty of things, Anthony Davis does better than any other big or wing in his heyday, but his post-defense is what the Lakers have benefited the most from. The Brow leads all the rim protectors in the playoffs for most blocked shots, with 21.
The Lakers still haven’t won their first round as the Grizzlies beat them 116-99 in Game 5. AD had 31 points, 19 rebounds, and 3 blocks in the game while shooting 14 of 23 from the field. It was a monstrous all-round game that went in vain.
The 6ft 11′ former Pelicans forward is trying his best to win every game he plays for the Purple and Gold, but he has to be consistent with what he brings each night on the offensive side as well. Will he be playing Game 6 is the bigger question though.
Is Anthony Davis playing tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies?
Struggling to be off of the Lakers’ 3rd straight season, Anthony Davis continues to be on the team’s injury report alongside LeBron James this season. He is probable for Game 6 according to Lakers beat reporter Michael Corvo.

However, do expect both of them to play and AD to be on the floor without any minute restrictions because he said the following after the Game 5 loss.
Anthony Davis on Game 6: “If Coach needs me to play 42, 45, 48, whatever, minutes to get the job done, I’ll be ready.” https://t.co/lNEE4PtsWr

What can we actually expect from Davis?
In the last 5 games, the 2020 NBA champ has had 22, 13, 31, 12, and 31 points. That’s pretty inconsistent for a guy with whom LeBron James and Co primarily want to run their offense through.
By the pattern, he is going to have an off-game. If you ask me, I’d say, get ready for a 40-point game.
Neither way the Grizzlies are going to have it as easy as they had it in Memphis because the 38-year-old King and Cypto.com arena will also be ready to give their all tonight.
