“Anything That’s Not Called Toto”: Christian Horner Jokes About How He Locates His Lucky Toilet at Every Race

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner made headlines last year when he revealed that he finds himself a ‘lucky toilet’ at every Grand Prix he visits. It seems that people haven’t forgotten this comment, as on the same lines, he was once again asked another question.

Horner recently appeared on the Pardon My Take podcast, where he was asked to explain on what basis he chose his lucky toilet. The British team principal hilariously replied, “Anything that is not called Toto.” He then added that he just wants the toilet to be available and comfortable.

Christian Horner reveals Red Bull will allow their drivers to race

Since Red Bull has emerged as the outright dominant team of the 2023 season, the question that most fans have is whether their side will allow their drivers to race each other. When asked this question on the podcast, Christian Horner replied that the team will allow their drivers to race each other provided they do not cross the line.

The 49-year-old believes that both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez need to be wary of the fact that they are racing for the team and not just for themselves. Hence, he revealed that both drivers can race each other as long as they keep it tidy.

He then concluded his remarks by stating that he is happy with the way both Verstappen and Perez have raced so far. Horner believes that if his drivers carry on in this fashion, then they could race each other for the rest of the season.

Red Bull find itself way ahead of the competition so far

Red Bull has dominated the 2023 season so far as their drivers have won all the opening four races. Max Verstappen won in Bahrain and in Australia, while Sergio Perez won in Saudi Arabia and in Azerbaijan.

Consequently of these results, Red Bull has scored 180 points and has a whopping 93 points lead over second-placed Aston Martin. A similar level of domination is also seen in the Drivers’ Championship as reigning champion Max Verstappen currently leads the standings with 93 points.

He is six points clear of his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez, while third-placed Fernando Alonso is already a staggering 33 points behind the Dutchman. Considering Red Bull’s dominance so far, they will undoubtedly enter the Miami Grand Prix this weekend as the favorites.
