Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals will lock horns for the first time in the ongoing 16th season of the Indian Premier League at the MA Chidambaram Stadium tomorrow. Scheduled to face each other after more than a year, this rivalry will witness a lone contest this season just like IPL 2022.

Played at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, the last match between these two opponents had witnessed CSK thumping DC by a formidable 91-run margin. With the overseas duo of Devon Conway and Moeen Ali contributing in the batting and bowling departments respectively, the opposition were bundled out for 117 in 17.4 overs.

Although Delhi have won four out of their last six matches against Chennai, they still lack behind in head-to-head record against them historically. Be it the overall record or the one concerning Chepauk, David Warner and his men have a lot of catching up to do.
