Sergio Perez Reveals One Bad Habit He Learned From Being Max Verstappen’s Red Bull Teammate
Sergio Perez has unraveled the one bad habit he learned from Max Verstappen after he arrived at Red Bull in 2021. Perez disclosed that being in the team, he learned to “swear” from the two-time world champion.
As per a recently surfaced video, the Mexican driver revealed this when he was asked about the lessons they learned from each other. Answering this, the 33-year-old driver stated, “I know. I know what I’ve learned a lot, to swear a lot more.”

In reply to this, the Dutchman said, “I never swear. ” However, he further joked that it’s just his “language.” On the other hand, as the Dutch pilot was asked about the same, he said Perez is “very romantic and very caring.”
As the defending champion went on to add something more, he was interrupted by Checo, who said he taught Verstappen “yoga lessons“, as the Red Bull ace added that the “stretching” they do together is “next level.”
Verstappen and Perez’s pair compared with Prost and Senna
The Red Bull duo of Verstappen and Perez was recently compared with the great Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna from McLaren in the 1980s. The Mexican driver’s father, Antonio Perez Garibay, made the comparison lately, as per SportsMole.
It is believed that the comparisons were made based on the dominance they have been showing in F1. In fact, this was quite similar to what Senna and Prost did back in the 1988 and 1989 F1 seasons in McLaren.

Speaking on this, Garibay said that Verstappen and Perez are the same as compared to the iconic duo. They have the same mindset; they try to snatch the fastest lap from one another and they want the pole position in qualification.
Perez receives a brutal wake-up call on his championship hope
The Mexican driver has recently received a harsh wake-up call on his title hope. Dutch racing driver Tom Coronel has lately suggested that the former Racing Point driver stands no chance against his Red Bull teammate.
Talking about this to Dutch Motorsport.com, Coronel said that when someone is against a driver like Verstappen, they always play second fiddle. Furthermore, the Dutchman’s lead in the championship will also increase from here on, Coronel added.
Admittedly, Perez failed to make use of this P1 start in Miami. Max Verstappen, who started way back in P9, in the end, managed to seal the Miami International Autodrome victory comfortably against his teammate and further increased the lead.
