LeBron James Approves $500,000,000 Marvel Movie’s Salute To ‘Epic Handshake’ With Best Friend Dwyane Wade
LeBron James is undoubtedly one of the most popular athletes in the world. King James has a cult following and has had a significant impact on the world of pop culture as well. In fact, the recent hit movie Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse paid homage to one of his epic handshakes with best friend Dwyane Wade. And, with the movie having just crossed the $500,000,000 mark in box office collections, The King has given it his thumbs up on Instagram.
Across the Spider-Verse has been all the rage. The movie features some amazing animation and has a great story and dialogue. It has garnered worldwide attention, and one of the reasons is its numerous Easter Eggs. The animators made tons of different references throughout the movie. One of them, which probably had every basketball fan smiling was the handshake between two of the characters, Hobie and Pavitr. A clear nod to LeBron and D-Wade.

Back in the day, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade were best buddies on the Miami Heat. The two were always hanging out with each other and are still best friends to this day. However, their time together with the Heat was something special.
The two were inseparable and even developed one of the coolest handshakes the NBA has ever seen. The handshake question almost looks like a training scene from the Rocky movies, with the two showing off some of their boxing moves. Well, now audiences around the world can see it for themselves thanks to Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse.
In the movie, two of the Spidermen, Pavitr Prabhakar and Hobie Brown can be seen performing the handshake. This has gotten the nod from The King. And, while it obviously isn’t the reason, the movie has found much success, hitting a box office milestone having crossed $500,000,000 globally.

It certainly was a great Easter Egg and one that reminded NBA fans of how lethal a duo Bron and D-Wade were. After all, some of the Heat’s most successful years came with both of them at the helm.
Bron and D-Wade were one of the most dominant duos in NBA history
The Spiderman movie couldn’t have picked a better duo to pay homage to. LeBron James and Dwyane Wade made for a deadly combination during their time in Miami. The duo led the Heat to four straight NBA Finals winning two championships in the process. They truly were a force to be reckoned with.
There can be no denying their greatness. And, when all is said and done, the duo of The King and The Flash will go down in history as one of the all-time best.
