Mila Kunis Wasn’t Happy with Shaquille O’Neal’s Loyalty to the Yankees
Shaquille O’Neal‘s encounter with Ashton Kutcher on “Punk’d” in 2005 left a lasting impression. However, his interaction with Kutcher’s wife, Mila Kunis, had the studio audience dying in laughter. During a 2017 episode of The Jimmy Kimmel Show, Shaq and Mila engaged in some playful banter as the big man assumed the task of hosting the show.
During her segment on the show, Mila was hilariously bothered when Shaq declared that he was a New York Yankees fan. She had assumed he supported the Los Angeles Dodgers.
It is worth noting that Shaq considers both Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis to be his close friends. Mila was intrigued by Shaq wearing his impressive Hall of Fame ring to the show and expressed her amazement at its size.
Half-jokingly, she suggested that Shaq should consider storing the ring in a safety deposit box. This led the conversation towards baseball, where they discussed their favorite teams and allegiances.
After Shaq’s revelation of being a New York Yankees fan, Mila couldn’t hide her dismay. She pretended to walk off the set after recovering from her initial shock. However, she soon walked back in.
Meanwhile, the audience couldn’t contain their laughter. After returning to her seat, Mila said to Shaq,
“What do you mean you’re a Yankees fan? Get him off guys, get out of here.”
Kunis is clearly a big Dodgers fan. The rivalry between the Dodgers and the Yankees is rooted in their historical matchups dating back to 1958. So it’s not surprising to see Mila reacting in such a way, especially since Shaq is a legend in LA because of his stint with the Lakers.
Meanwhile, Mila described herself as a fan who refrains from using profanities during games when children are present. But occasionally, she allows herself to express joy and excitement while watching the Dodgers.
