Michael Jordan’s Ex-Wife Commenting on Larsa Pippen and Marcus’ Photo Draws Reaction From ‘Real Housewives Star’
Larsa Pippen, who is in a relationship with Michael Jordan’s son Marcus, recently talked about her partner’s mother, Juanita Vanoy. Vanoy is MJ’s ex-wife and the mother of the 32-year-old Marcus Jordan. Considering the age gap between Larsa and Marcus and the fact that Larsa is Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife, the two’s relationship has been under the scanner on social media. However, it seems as if Juanita in particular is highly-supportive of the two. Marcus’ mother posted a few heart emojis on one of their Instagram posts, something Larsa was especially happy with.
During their latest episode of their podcast “Separation Anxiety,” the two spoke at length about the lack of approval towards their relationship. Earlier this month, the Chicago Bulls legend had told a TMZ reporter that he didn’t approve of his son’s relationship with Larsa. Marcus claimed that his father was joking, and revealed how his mother Juanita has been extremely supportive of the two.
Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan talk about Juanita Vanoy’s approval of their relationship
While the viral MJ video made fans believe that he is not happy with their relationship, Marcus painted a different picture. He claimed that his father was merely playing around during the interview and actually approves of their relationship.
The two then moved on to Marcus’ mother, Juanita Vanoy, who has been much more supportive, according to Larsa. Larsa initially talked about an Instagram comment that Juanita had made on one of their posts. She then asked Marcus to tell the audience the story:
“My mom, who is new to Instagram. She left a comment, left some hearts on one of our posts. Larsa really, really loved that. Obviously, I am happy to see my mom supporting us. Once she get her Instagram back, she will be in all our mentions.”
In response, Larsa commented that she really liked Marcus’ mom. She went on to claim that she liked the way “Juanita rolled” while talking about how she approached difficult conversations.
Larsa Pippen was accused of lying about getting Michael Jordan and Juanita Vanoy’s approval
Following MJ’s interview claiming that he doesn’t approve of the relationship, Larsa found herself being accused of lying about getting their approval. The couple, via their podcast, have suggested multiple times that neither MJ nor Juanita has any problem with their relationship.
According to Marcus, Michael Jordan was merely joking during the TMZ interview. He also claimed both of his parents approve of their relationship. Even Juanita’s comment on their Instagram page serves the same narrative:
“My dad is always kinda go with the flow. But I think my mom, she is obviously supportive. But I feel like she might be sometimes be like your mom in terms of finding things to nitpick or having issues or concerns with, but she is not confrontational. She will have sidebar conversations. So they have never really been involved in my personal relationships, but there is always comments or questions.”
Needless to say, despite the minor issues, Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan’s relationship has been going from strength to strength in recent months.
