Barcelona accused of doping: Journalist Graham Hunter has made a stunning revelation, which hints at Barca players using banned drugs.

An old audio clip has resurfaced on the internet where Graham Hunter, a journalist has admitted that Barcelona players used a banned substance to fasten the recovery process from injuries.

The claim was made six years ago, and the audio file has now resurfaced, as it was posted on Twitter.

Hunter was asked to comment on Xavi’s injury and whether he would be available for the game against Bayer Leverkusen, which was scheduled to be played in the Champions League.

The journalist then revealed that Xavi has been taking growth hormones, and the interviewer intervened as Hunter proceeded to talk about his recovery.

He asked if growth hormones are allowed in sports, to which Hunter admitted that the doctors and physicans at FC Barcelona have been using the HGH regularly and publicly to treat muscle fatigue.

Hunter admitted that Barcelona used HGH (Human Growth Hormones), which is banned in both, amateur and professional sports. The substance is used to accelerate the recovery from an injury.

However, Hunter quickly moved to discuss the form of Barcelona defender Gerard Pique.

This also brings us to the unnaturally quick recovery of Lionel Messi from an injury that should have sidelined him for a month.

It’s no secret that the Barcelona star used HGH in his early football career to help him compete with his colleagues (which his current club funde).

Lionel Messi’s name has also been under the scanner, but it is also argued that the Argentine has used the drug as prescripted by doctors and physicians, and hence, his usage would come under ‘Therapeutic Use Exemption’. (TUE)
