WATCH: Lewis Hamilton compliments Raikkonen on a job well done, Kimi responds
Kimi Raikkonen has always been a man of very few words, having opened up a little more in the last few seasons, but still keeping to himself especially when everyone around him is going ballistic.
Even after winning his first race in almost 5 years at the United States GP, Kimi held his own and did not overtly celebrate the win.
He was happy, yes, but the celebrations were very Kimi like, not much in the open, and hopefully a madhouse in private.
Raikkonen secured his 12th podium finish of the season yesterday, claiming the 3rd spot in the Brazilian GP after a hard fought race wherein Ferrari struggled to get the best out of the tyres.
The race however was marred by massive controversy as Ocon and Verstappen collided in the dying stages of the race, a collision that handed the race victory to Hamilton.
In the cool down room, Hamilton let Verstappen know that he was at fault too as he tried to fight off Ocon, when he absolutely did not need to, considering what was at stake.
Verstappen obviously disagreed but did not quite say much to oppose Hamilton, apart from the obvious ‘he shouldn’t have crashed into me’.
After that little conversation, Hamilton sat down and commended Raikkonen on a good job out there.
He said it a couple of times but couldn’t muster a reply from the Finn.
Hamilton: Good job
Kimi: Ha?
Hamilton: Good job
Kimi: Ah.
This bit is right at the end of the video.
