WATCH: Walter Koster politely reminds Hamilton to publish his book, Alonso pulls his leg
Walter Koster’s brilliant question from the Abu Dhabi GP about the complexity of F1 resurfaced on social media a few days back in anticipation of his return to the press room for the 2018 Grand Prix.
And Walter Koster did return, this time with an equally brilliant(if not better) question for Lewis Hamilton.
Walter Koster politely remind Lewis about the promise that he had made 2 years back in Abu Dhabi itself, wherein he had confirmed that he would be writing a book in 10 year time.
Walter wanted to remind Lewis about the book because Hamilton had mentioned that in his book he would reveal the explanation for the change of his and Nico’s mechanics crew.
Koster went onto say that he had the intention to buy Lewis’ book and wanted to confirm if he had started writing it.
Lewis couldn’t stop laughing, and confirmed that he hadn’t really given the book a thought.
Alonso kept coming into the conversation, saying that he did remember the question form 2016.
With a sigh of relief, Lewis said that he had more years to go in order to fulfil his promise and thus Walter(and the world) would have to wait for the book to come out.
Alonso jumped in again saying that he shouldn’t really make Walter wait, and should explain the reason then and there itself.
Lewis then asked Alonso if he was going to do a book and Alonso replied with an affirmative, saying that it could come out in a year or so.
Alonso seemed pretty relaxed and was enjoying his final F1 press conference(unless of course he manages to finish on the podium).
