WATCH: Daniel Ricciardo sings on his Red Bull farewell
Daniel Ricciardo is on his way out of Red Bull after he made that surprising decision back in August about leaving the team and going off to Renault.
Things have gone downhill ever since for the Australian, as he has had multiple DNFs and has just not got going in the second half of the season.
Things got so messy towards the end that after his DNF in Mexico, when he was on his way to a podium finish, Ricciardo went onto say that he might not even show up for the last two races.
However, Ricciardo admitted that he made that statement when he wasn’t thinking clearly and did in fact show up for the last two races.
Despite all the differences and the lows this season, Ricciardo did have a good enough farewell on the race track, managing to finish the race in P4.

An emotional Ricciardo then thanked the Red Bull team for the last 5 years and reminded them of the good times that they had shared.
Post all the on track goodbyes, Ricciardo even visited the Red Bull factory one last time to meet the entire Red Bull staff.
Red Bull gifted him a bike as a parting away gift.
Now, last night, Red Bull even hosted a small party for Ricciardo, one where Ricciardo took the microphone and sang for the entire Red Bull team.

The Red Bull farewell turned out to be a brilliant one for Ricciardo and he would now be hoping that his Renault move turns out to be a special one too.
