Mesut Ozil tweets on Arsenal win: Arsenal beat Huddersfield 1-0 as they move to 3rd spot in the league.

Arsenal secured a late winner through Lucas Torreira as the Gunners defeated Huddersfield 1-0.

Lucas Torreira scored the only goal in the game, as the Uruguayan scored an incredible bicycle kick to give Arsenal the win.

Unai Emery’s side endured a frustrating game, but Torreira broke the deadlock in the 83rd minute of the game through an excellent cross from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. With this win, Arsenal move to third place in the league.

However, their final position at the end of the match-week will be decided by the results of City’s game against Chelsea, and Tottenham’s match against Leicester City.

Mesut Ozil, meanwhile, reacted to Arsenal’s win.

Mesut Ozil reacts to Arsenal win:

The former German international has missed the football action ever since the end of the international break last month. Ozil was benched for the entirety of the game against Bournemouth, and Unai Emery later stated that he wanted ‘physicality’ in the game, when asked about the decision to drop the midfielder.

The Arsenal star then suffered a back injury, which ruled him out for the North London derby and the away game against Manchester United.

He trained ahead of the Huddersfield match, but Unai Emery opted to rest him.

Ozil reacted to Arsenal’s win through Twitter, saying, “Yesss! Three points and the run continues 👍🏼 Good job Gunners.”
