Messi on Ronaldo: Barca star talks about rivalry with Juventus star
Messi on Ronaldo: The Barcelona forward has talked about his rivalry with Cristiano Ronaldo in an interview with Marca.
Lionel Messi spoke about his rivalry with Cristiano Ronaldo, who currently plays for Juventus.
Messi is currently the top goalscorer in the La Liga, despite missing three weeks of action in October due to arm injury against Sevilla. He has scored 15 goals in as many games for the club in La Liga so far.
Cristiano Ronaldo, the Argentine’s most celebrated rival during his time in Spain, left Real Madrid for Juventus at the beginning of the season. In an interview earlier this season, Messi expressed his surprise at his move to Italy.
The Argentine star has now talked about Cristiano Ronaldo again in conversation with Spanish outlet Marca.

Earlier this month, Cristiano Ronaldo gave a detailed interview to Gazzetta dello Sport for the first time since leaving Real Madrid, where he talked about his life at Juventus and his experience in Spain.
The interview also stirred controversies regarding his comments on Real Madrid and Lionel Messi. While the Portuguese forward took a dig at the Spanish giants, he stated that he doesn’t miss the Barca forward.

He also responded to Ronaldo’s challenge of coming to Serie A.
“I don’t need any change,” stated the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
“I’m at the best team in the world. My challenges are renewed year after year. I do not need to change teams or leagues to set new goals. I am at home and I do not need to change.”
Earlier, he insisted that he was surprised with Ronaldo’s move to Juventus.
“It surprised me [when he left],” Messi said in September.
Messi: “I didn’t imagine Ronaldo leaving Madrid or joining Juventus. There were a lot of teams that wanted him. It surprised me, but he has gone to a very good team.”
