Rishabh Pant does somersault: The Indian wicket-keeper successfully performed the somersault during his heroic innings at SCG.

During the second day of the fourth Test of the ongoing India’s tour of Australia at Sydney, India wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant was seen putting on display a somersault in the middle of the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Pant, who became the first Indian wicket-keeper to score a Test century in Australia, engaged himself in the acrobatic activity during one of the drink breaks. In a sitting position, Pant lied down only to turn his head over heels in the air to land on his feet.

The video was uploaded by Cricket Australia in a GIF format on their official Twitter handle. Apart from his batting, wicket-keeping and banter, his somersault has become another source of entertainment fans around the globe.

Talking of Pant’s batting, the 21-year old southpaw scored his second Test century to bolster India to a formidable total. The notion regarding India batting Australia out of the match have already begun. The same was chiefly possible due to Pant and India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja sharing a 204-run partnership for the seventh wicket.

As Jadeja lost his stumps in the attempt of hitting Australia off-spinner Nathan Lyon out of the park, it saw India declaring their innings on 622-7 in 167.2 overs. While Cheteshwar Pujara remained the top-scorer for India, Pant ended up scoring 159* (189) with the help of 15 fours and a six.
