Dream 11 Season Mode: Dream 11 Round 2 fantasy prediction and tips
Dream 11 Season Mode: Dream 11 Round 2 fantasy prediction and tips as The SportsRush helps you form the best possible Dream 11 team
The Dream 11 Season mode is moving into Round 2 now, with the schedule based selection mode kicking in now, thanks to 3 Delhi Capitals fixtures in this round and just 1 KKR fixture.
Thus, despite how well Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Nitish Rana and Robin Uthappa have performed in Round 1, they are not going to be of much ‘fantasy use’ to you in Round 2. Instead, you could opt for a few Delhi Capitals players, as they feature thrice in this round.
Also, one thing clearly visible from Round 1 is that bowlers are clearly not getting as many points as the batsmen, hence, there is absolutely no point having more than 3 bowlers in your squad. Also, you could probably take away some investment from the bowling department and rather invest in more batsmen.
Let’s get to business now.
Dream 11 Season Mode Round 2 prediction and tips
Transfer out: Jos Buttler, Jofra Archer, Varun Chakravarthy, Khaleel Ahmed, Andre Russell
Transfer in: David Warner, Rishabh Pant, Chris Morris, Kagiso Rabada, Harbhajan Singh
While unlimited trades are available for this round, there aren’t many changes that I would be making to my team from the first round.
The first player that I would get in to my team is David Warner. The Australian has been on fire in the first two games, looking at home and taking the opposition to the cleaners, no matter how the track or the opposition bowlers behave. SRH are up against RCB on Sunday. RCB’s bowling lineup isn’t going to cause a lot of problems to the Aussie and he could tee off once again.
Yes, the Kotla surface does not inspire a lot of confidence, with respect to stroke making, but it is sure that the groundsmen will be working hard to help the pitch get back to its ‘batting best’. Nonetheless, two games for Warner in such form, you shouldn’t be leaving him out.
The second player that I bring in is Chris Morris, at the expense of Andre Russell. Chris Morris is going to slot into that all-rounders role for DC on Saturday, a place that was acquired by Keemo Paul all this while. However, Morris’ performances in the last few seasons warrant a direct place for him. Moreover, he is worth just 8 cr, plays 3 games in this round, provides you with a double scoring opportunity and helps you with the budget constraints.
He has confirmed that he would not be featuring with the new ball and will instead be used in a more death bowling role. Get him in at all costs.
For my 3rd trade, I will be brining in Rishabh Pant for Jos Buttler. Both Buttler and Pant set the stage on fire in their opening games and then went a little cold in their second game. Now, with Pant playing thrice in this round, it only makes logical sense to pick him over Buttler.
For my 4th trade, I get in Kagiso Rabada in place of Varun Chakravarthy. Varun did not have a good outing in his solitary game this season, as he was taken to the cleaners by Sunil Narine.
Rabada has taken 3 wickets in the first two games for DC and has been used in a death bowling role by his captain. Coming in at just 8.5 cr and providing the services of a death bowler, Rabada is certainly one of my trump cards.
For my final trade of this round, I would be bringing in Harbhajan Singh for Khaleel Ahmed. Bhajji wrecked havoc in the opening encounter of the season, running through the RCB batting unit, picking up Moeen Ali, Virat Kohli and ABD. His guile and experience will come in handy when CSK play the Royals at home and when Bhajji returns to Mumbai to play against his old franchise. At 7 cr, he is an absolute steal. Get him in.
Captain: Rishabh Pant(3 games and dual role as batsman and keeper)
Vice-Captain: Virat Kohli
