Jordan Henderson breaks down while hugging his father after the Liverpool captain won the Champions league title with the club.

Liverpool lived their dream to conquer Europe, as the Reds marched over Tottenham to win their sixth Champions league. It was after 14 years of wait, since Liverpool last won the tournament in 2005.

The Merseyside club massively struggled throughout the seasons before reaching here. Jordan Henderson, who is serving the Reds since last eight years also saw the days of mediocrity at the Anfield.

However, the Liverpool captain remained at the club to truly watch it to transform under Jurgen Klopp as the Kopites reached into two successive finals.

Although, the previous final against Real Madrid was a disaster, as Liverpool lost by 3-1  to the Los Blancos, but Jurgen Klopp’s side came back after a year to seize the title.

This was the first champions league title for most of the players in the squad, including Henderson. The Liverpool captain lifted the title and turned emotional after a while, as he was finding it difficult to believe that his dreams have become true.

It was seen that the 28-year-old midfielder broke down while gracing his father after defeating Tottenham in the most anticipated match of the year.

It is reported that Henderson’s father had a throat cancer once and asked him not to see him while he was going through treatment. Thus, it how much emotions are filled in this moment.
