Aakash Chopra trolls VVS Laxman

Aakash Chopra trolls VVS Laxman: The former Indian cricketers’ shared a funny moment on the social media platform.

During the first ODI of the ongoing India’s tour of New Zealand at Napier, international cricket witnessed a first-ever incident of a match stopping due to a ‘Glaring Sun’. As much odd as it sounds, it left everyone shell-shocked for no one had ever imagined something of this sort to happen.

It happened during the Indian innings, an over after India lost their vice-captain Rohit Sharma to New Zealand all-rounder Doug Bracewell. The consequence of the same was that play had to be called-off for a significant amount of time as the players walked back to the pavilion.

During the break, New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor and the umpires disclosed in an interview that it was the first time that they were witnessing anything like this in international cricket.

While there were numerous reactions with respect to the same on social media platform Twitter, it was the one by former India batsman and current Sunrisers Hyderabad mentor VVS Laxman which gained a lot of eyeballs. “Even the Sun can now stop play, but I know nothing stops the Sunrisers Hyderabad,” read Laxman’s tweet.

Laxman’s former teammate Aakash Chopra was quick to reply on the same, saying that IPL Champions Chennai Super Kings did stop the Sunrisers during the last season of the IPL.

With the exact reason about the same remaining undisclosed, Laxman ended up deleting his tweet after Chopra’s response.
