Aaron Ramsey to Everton

Aaron Ramsey to Everton: The Premier League club is considering a stunning move for Arsenal’s midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

Arsenal has been in sublime form this season. After losing the two opening Premier League games to Man City and Chelsea, the Gunners are yet to drop points in the league. Unai Emery’s side currently sits at 4th in the league, with only two points behind league leaders Manchester City.

The Gunners are also on a nine-match winning streak in all competitions, which include a win in their first round of Carabao Cup over lower-league side Brentford, and two Europa League group matches.

Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have found their goal-scoring boots, as both scored a brace in their last match against Fulham before the international break. Arsenal thumped the newly-promoted side 5-1 at Craven Cottage to take a lead over Tottenham in the table.

However, Arsenal faces a situation similar to the one it faced in the January transfer window this year. The Gunners parted ways with contract-rebel Alexis Sanchez in a swap deal with Manchester United, which saw the arrival of Henrikh Mkhitaryan. This time, it’s Aaron Ramsey, whose talks of a new contract with Arsenal have broken down.

Now, reports suggest that Everton are eyeing a move for the Welsh midfielder.

Aaron Ramsey to Everton:

The Merseyside club are considering a 150,000 pounds/week contract for Aaron Ramsey, which would run over a period of five years, according to English media outlet ‘The Sun.’

Earlier, Premier League giants like Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all tipped to submit their bids in January.

Ramsey is also in demand from other top European clubs like Juventus. Metro reports that Ramsey would need further convincing from Everton if they want him to shun away the interests from European giants.

The Welshman, however, has confirmed that he won’t be making a move away from Arsenal in January, and will see his contract out at Arsenal.

What next?

Arsenal will return to Premier League action on Monday night as they take on Leicester City. The Gunners will play three games within the space of seven days, which include a Europa League game against Sporting Lisbon on Thursday.
