Jim Cornette says Jon Moxley looked like a jobber on AEW Dynamite

Jim Cornette says Jon Moxley looked like a jobber on AEW Dynamite while praising the new comer Nick Comoroto’s appearance.

Jim Cornette is a straight shooter. He says it like it is, or at least what he thinks it is. As you can imagine, this occasionally results in some very controversial statements. Cornette was at it again on his The Jim Cornette Experience podcast, where he tore into Jon Moxley’s appearance.

The former Wrestling manager claimed that Moxley looked like a balding plumber that didn’t know whether he was a heel or a face. He was full of praise for his opponent, Nick Comoroto. Cornette went so far as to claim that the debutant had the appearance of a star while Moxley looked like the job guy.

“And then we switched from that to a balding plumber walking in from the parking lot, Oh it’s Jon Moxley!” Cornette said. “In-ring intros where nobody has ever heard of one guy, just out of nowhere.

“So, Jon Moxley is going to wrestle Nick Comoroto who has a ton of potential, is built like a f*cking beast and has hair and muscles and he looks rough. You can tell he’s green, but they had a basic match.

“It wasn’t one of the Moxley matches where they go outside and do all the garbage death match wrestling outside that he always does. He didn’t do all that stupid sh*t on the inside. He kept it basis with this guy who’s green. So, Nick held his end up.”

“However, visually if you would have put this match in a vacuum in front of somebody, you’d say Nick Comoroto is the star and Jon Moxley is the job guy.”

This isn’t the first time Cornette has taken a shot at Moxley. Last year he questioned Renee Paquette’s decision to marry the former AEW Champion.

“She’s very intelligent, she’s very well-spoken. What the fk does she see in Moxley? Holy mackerel, talk about fking marrying down.” He had said. “You think he’s gonna find somebody else that pretty and that smart and that well-accomplished with everything to marry him again?”

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
