AJ Styles turning heel : Will the phenomenal one turn heel in the upcoming weeks?
After almost 3 years with the Blue Brand, AJ styles has finally moved to Raw. He is also the no.1 contender to Seth Rollins Universal championship. There is something different about him however since the change now. The phenomenal one seems to be a lot more bullish than he was before Wrestlemania. Last week he referenced his time as a heel when he mentioned beating up John Cena with the good brothers, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. He even claimed that Seth Rollins was looking to be the next AJ Styles this week.
Is WWE be thinking of turning him heel? Maybe he’ll reform the club and beat down Seth like they beat up John Cena. He did mention that Seth did not have his Shield brothers to save him anymore.

While still a popular figure, many believe that his character has gone stale and The Georgian Pitbull could massively benefit from the heel turn.
Previous Heel Turn
AJ was last seen as a heel back in 2016 to early 2017 when he was at Smackdown. It was during this period that AJ won the WWE audience over. He was also the WWE champion and had multiple match of the nights on both Smackdown and Pay per views.

It was under his reign when Smackdown beat Raw in the Ratings War once. It was an episode that featured John Cena’s return but a big feat regardless. He proved to be a deserving villain to Cena’s heroic character, beating him all year long before finally dropping the belt to him at the 2017 Royal Rumble.
After a failed pursuit of the belt, AJ felt he was being kept away from the title by Shane McMahon. The two went on to have a match at Wrestlemania. He turned face the following night and has been one ever since.
Conclusion
AJ has done everything he can as a face in WWE in the last 2 years now. There are no big-name heels in the Raw roster at the moment. Having AJ as your top heel would not only rejuvenate his career but also open up the possibility of multiple exciting match ups.
Hopefully all of this leads to a spectacular turn and not just be swept under the carpet in typical WWE style. Hopefully we will find all our answers in the coming weeks.
