Alexis Sanchez at United: The Manchester United forward is reportedly speaking to only three teammates after ‘being isolated.’

Manchester United failed to overcome the tough test at Etihad Stadium, as Guardiola’s side cruised to 3-1 victory. Jose Mourinho’s side was thoroughly outplayed by a strong Manchester City, who looked in control of the game right from the kick-off.

With this loss, Manchester United remain at 8th position in the league table and are a whopping 12 points behind their neighbors, who regained the first position. The players will now head out for the international break, and Manchester United will return to the league with the game against Crystal Palace.

Alexis Sanchez came late in the second half but failed to make an impact on the game. Unfortunately for the Chilean winger, the same goes true of his tenure at Old Trafford so far.

Sanchez signed for Manchester United in January, but has since scored only 4 goals for the club. This season, the only goal he scored was the winner against Newcastle United. It is now reported that Sanchez is unhappy at the club.

Alexis Sanchez at United:

According to the report from Times, the Manchester United forward is feeling ‘isolated’ at the club and is on talking terms with only three players.

The report claims that Sanchez is speaking to Juan Mata, David De Gea and Romelu Lukaku. The Chilean winger didn’t take significant steps to improve his English to fit in the dressing room, Times say.

Sanchez joined Manchester United in January in a swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan after being heavily linked with Manchester City. The Chilean was impressive in United’s 3-2 win over the city rivals last season, but was on the bench last night.

During the game, Alexis Sanchez was seen chatting with Juan Mata on the bench as well.

What next?

It has been reported among various media outlets that Paris Saint Germain are keen on signing Alexis Sanchez. The lack of performances and his inability to fit in inside the dressing room at Manchester United could trigger Sanchez for a move to French side.
