Alexis Sanchez blames Jose Mourinho for shattering his confidence

Alexis Sanchez blames Jose Mourinho for shattering his confidence. The former Arsenal star is a shell of his former self and his been sent out on loan to Inter.

Alexis Sanchez was without a doubt the best Arsenal footballer during his time at North London. However, since his highly publicised move to Manchester United, the Chilean forward has massively flattered to deceive. His failures in front of the goal has eventually seen him being shipped out on loan to Inter Milan.

Sanchez has now shifted the blame for his failings onto former manager Jose Mourinho. Although hailing him as one of the best coaches in the world, the Chilean says that the Portuguese’s policy of regularly rotating his players contributed towards him eventually losing his confidence.

“I say things as they are and, in my opinion,” Sanchez told the BBC.

“Mourinho is one of the best coaches in the world in the way that he coaches, how he studies videos, the way he goes about things.

“But then, within the group there was that feeling that you were in the team then out. Sometimes I didn’t play, then I did, then I didn’t and as a player you lose confidence, each player lost their confidence, do you understand?

“And then an atmosphere was created that wasn’t healthy.

“Sometimes I’m playing well and I score a goal and he took me off. And I’d say, ‘I love football, I love football.’

“I’ve played football since I was five and if I have the ball taken away from me, it’s as if I lose my joy. I’m like that.”

Sanchez is set to return to the club in the summer. However, it is likely that he has worn the Manchester United jersey for the last time already and will be shifted out once again; on loan or perhaps even permanently.
