Alexis Sanchez News: Ole Solskjaer claims Chilean International will return to Manchester United after loan end to prove everyone wrong.
Manchester United’s one of the biggest transfer blunders ever was the intensive amount of money involved in the transfer of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal. Chilean International turned out to be an absolute failure with the Red Devils.
The weekly wages of Sanchez at the club used to earn around a staggering half a million pounds in a week. But in return, he just scored 5 goals for the club in the 45 appearances he made across all competitions for Manchester United.
Surely, Sanchez became the biggest financial liability to Manchester United and with no other club ready to meet his wage demands, the Red Devils were bound to compromise with a loan deal with Inter Milan.
As the season is about to end, Ole Solakjaer has said that Sanchez will return to the club and will soon be a part of the team setup. Moreover, he also guaranteed that the Chilean star will prove everyone wrong this time when asked about the club’s plans in the last days of the transfer window.
“I can’t remember how many good ones we’ve brought in, good deals that we’ve brought in during January. Henrik was good, Nemanja and Patrice, they were [good ones] too. Henrik was a loan.
“It’s hard, it’s very hard. The clubs don’t want to lose their best players, so Alexis will come back in the summer and prove you all wrong.” said Manchester United manager.

Even in Serie A, Sanchez hasn’t shown anything exceptional to validate Solskjaer’s claim. The 31-year-old forward has passed his peak but still could be a good squad member, but his staggering wages are not for someone who should be sitting on the bench.
With the end of this season, Sanchez will enter into the final year of his contract with the club. Thus, either they can massively cut short his bills to keep him in future or could offload him.
