Among Us is certainly a very fun game. I mean, it would not have made it to submit of the Internet if it wasn’t. However, the game has a random system of sorting when it comes to picking Crewmates and Imposters. And this can get very irritating, especially when you’ve already been Crewmate 4000 times in a row!
Also, let’s face it, the game is a lot more fun as a sneaky Imposter than a naïve Crewmate. How many times will you want to die in vain after all! Every once in awhile, we all feel like killing someone off, right? Ahem ahem… in the game, of course! So, here’s how you can nail your one rare chance as an Imposter and get a great win!
Is there a way to always be a great Imposter?
Now, of course, the game does not allow us to chose the role of Imposter by ourselves, otherwise, you’d not be here. Also, as sad as it is, Innersloth does not have any plans to include this feature in the future anytime soon. So, there don’t seem to be any direct solutions to the problem. But, we can give you some tips by which you can nail that one chance you get as an Imposter!
Basic Tips.
Firstly, fake tasks! We cannot mention this enough. Very often Imposters just forget to fake their tasks and simply roam around looking for their kill. Don’t do that! That does not serve any other purpose apart from making you highly sus! Also, this way if someone asks you about your whereabouts during a round, you lose all chances of having an alibi! This brings us to our next point – have a good Alibi.
You can manage it through 2 main methods. One of these, as we mentioned, is by actually doing tasks or faking them and showing people that you did them. There is however one other way other than doing tasks. This involves following people around and staying with a pack. This way you people will vouch for you and you’ll not be a common target.
Advanced Tips:
Once you have mastered the basic tips to avoid sus, as listed above, follow these to get sneaky kills. First, vent-kill as often as you can. Venting is one of quickest ways to move across the ship. So, use the speed and surprise factor to your advantage. Stay with a crowd until you fall back a little. Once you do, use a vent nearby and toggle through the other vents looking for lonely people. If you find anybody alone, vent out there, kill them, vent back and rejoin your teammates. Also if they ask you where you were, just name a task on your side of the ship!
Lastly, don’t kill your buddy who you’re hanging out with. This is a noob play that many newbies make and it makes no sense. That’s because if almost everyone sees you with a certain person, say X and later on, X is dead, they’ll naturally be sus that you killed him! So, you’re simply making things harder for yourself.
