Antoine Griezmann has admitted he remains more stressed about Fortnite than being inside the penalty area during a football game.

The French forward’s Fortnite celebration went popular during the World Cup last summer.

Griezmann, who plays for Atletico Madrid, is in a long list of footballers who are active on Fortnite and conduct live streams during the gameplay.

In an interview with Oh My Goal, the Atletico Madrid forward made a major admission about the videogame. He insisted that he gets more worried while playing Fortnite than being in an actual football game.

“I’m more stressed trying to get a Victory Royale than when I’m in the penalty area. I think [Fortnite] is tougher,” Griezmann said.

The forward stated that it is difficult to keep a level head while playing a game of Fortnite which makes it difficult.

In the same interview, he also disclosed the toughest player he faced in his career.

After a relatively slow start to the season, Griezmann found the pace and has scored 12 league goals for Atletico Madrid so far. He also helped the side registered a stunning 2-0 victory over Italian champions Juventus in the first leg of the round-of-16 of the Champions League.

In the same interview, he was also asked to assemble his five-a-side team. He chose his French teammates Ousmane Dembele and N’Golo Kante, Atletico Madrid’s defender Diego Godin and David Beckham.

“I’d go with Ousmane Dembele and I would say NG, N’Golo Kante, because you never lose when he’s on your team,” Griezmann said.

“I would take Godin because he always finds a way to cheat and win!

“I’ve picked three, right? With me, that’s four. And the last person, David Beckham. No goalkeeper. An open goal!”

Atletico Madrid and Griezmann will be back in action this weekend as the side takes on Real Sociedad. After a game with Gijon next week, the side faces a tough trip to Turin where they aim to hold on to their lead in the round-of-16 tie of the Champions League.
