Arsenal Fans name who they want to see as Captain vs Wolves. Unai Emery has confirmed that Granit Xhaka will not play in the Premier League tomorrow.
Arsenal will take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow. The last time the Gunners played at home, their captain and the supporters got into a clash with the fans cheering his substitution.

The cheers then turned to boos as Granit Xhaka walked off the pitch. The Swiss midfielder responded by shouting obscenities at the fans as he departed. Xhaka was not played in the match against Liverpool in the Carabao cup. However, many first team players were rotated for the match and it seemed that Xhaka would make a return along with the others.
Granit Xhaka Apologises
Granit Xhaka issued an apology to the fans for his actions and explained the reason behind his exasperation. He expressed regret for letting himself get carried away and then asked the club to move forward together.

Unai Emery Unmoved
However, Unai Emery has confirmed that despite being fully fit, Xhaka will not feature in the side that will take on Wolverhampton tomorrow.

“He is training,” Emery said.
“I said we were waiting on Monday, on the last press conference here on Tuesday.
“The next step is tomorrow the match. The focus is the match. It’s not in my mind he will play tomorrow.
“It’s not in my mind he’s going to play tomorrow. I am thinking tomorrow he’s not going to play.”

In the absence of Xhaka, Arsenal fans have now named who they want to see lead the North London club against the Wolves. The supporters have unanimously named Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang as their leader. The Gabonese forward has been their most prolific player so far and is seen as a possible candidate to wear the armband by the Arsenal faithful.
