Arsenal receive a massive injury boost as four players could eye a return to the team as the side returns to Premier League with the game against Newcastle.
Arsenal picked up the pace in the last few weeks as the side returned to the top four in the Premier League.
The side defeated Manchester United 2-0 in a significant Premier League game at the Emirates Stadium. The result pushed Solskjaer’s side down to fifth position in the table.
Arsenal also reached the quarterfinals of the Europa League after overturning a 3-1 deficit against Rennes to win 4-3 on aggregate.
However, the side received injury setbacks over the course of the following week. While Aaron Ramsey pulled out of the Wales squad with injury, Sokratis and Sead Kolasinac have been recovering from knocks, while Nacho Monreal remained out of action for some time due to calf injury.
Quadruple boost for Arsenal:
However, it has now been reported that both the players are in the fray to return to action for the game against Newcastle United.
Football.London has reported that Aaron Ramsey, Sokratis and Sead Kolasinac are all likely to return for the Newcastle clash, while Nacho Monreal has made a significant recovery and is expected to be available for selection.
Arsenal are currently in Dubai where they are scheduled to play against Al Nassr in a friendly. Mesut Ozil, who took international retirement after the World Cup in Russia in the summer, also travelled with the side and is expected to play the friendly.
Unai Emery’s side faces an intense battle for the top-4 this season, as Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are all battling for two positions. While Liverpool and Manchester City have all but secured the top two spots in the table, the race for the top four is likely to go down to the wire.
Arsenal have been drawn with Napoli in the quarterfinal of Europa League.

Emery: All of you must stay on your feet when the ball enters our penalty area.
Juan Carcedo: No rash tackles inside our penalty box please, don’t give the referee a chance to take a decision against us.

Wenger signed 17 year old Anelka for £500k, he helped Arsenal to the double and was sold for almost 50x what they paid for him.
He signed a 20 year old Toure for £150k from ASEC Mimosas and went Invincible.
Pep’s being labelled a God for developing a £50m 20 year old.
