Arsenal are set for a total revamp for the next season under Unai Emery.
The Gunners have busy in the transfer market these days. Arsenal have already completed the signing of Stephan Lichtsteiner from Juventus and Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen. While the club is close to agree a deal for Sokratis, Unai Emery is also keen on a move for Ever Banega.

And now, Arsenal are targeting Juventus’ defender Medhi Benatia.
Benatia signed for Juventus permanently only last season, after a successful loan spell with the club in the 2016-17 season. He has been on radar for many European clubs due to his performances for Juventus this season. He is currently leading Morocco in the World Cup in Russia.
However, towards the end of the previous season, he fell out of favour with Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri. And now, it looks likely that he will be plying his trade elsewhere next season.
Gazzetta Dello Sport reports that Unai Emery wants to bring Benatia to Arsenal, despite growing interest from clubs like Borussia Dortmund and Marseille. Benatia played in 35 games for the Italian champions this season.

Arsenal have already signed a player from Juventus this summer. Stephan Lichsteiner joined Arsenal earlier this month on a free transfer. Lichtsteiner is also leading his nation, Switzerland in the World Cup.
While Benatia’s Morocco are knocked out of the tournament, Switzerland are still in the race for a round-of-16 berth. They will meet Costa Rica in their final group game.
